The Gonzales flag itself was created by Sarah Seely DeWitt and her daughter, Evaline, from Noami DeWitt's wedding dress, an interesting tidbit that makes this adaptation for women's reproductive rights movement even more poignant.
Politicians have been chipping away at the protections for women to obtain the safe, legal, and essential reproductive health care they need.
